where is it? the SW region is a BIG area.

if its linked to the Crazy Bear hotel and spa group (who have 3 or 4 hotels i think) its likely to be VERY expensive and very legit!

£44.75 Monday to Thursday if you're looking at the Groupon offer.

"The Crazy Bear Stadhampton in Oxfordshire is a unique boutique hotel with flamboyant character. Set in 80 acres and surrounded by rural Oxfordshire countryside, just 15 minutes from Oxford and less than 40 miles from London. The ‘original’ Crazy Bear comprises eclectic accommodation, award-winning English and Thai restaurants, two bars, four private function rooms, abundant gardens and terraces offering extensive alfresco dining, and is home to The Crazy Bear farm and farm shop. The Sunday Times Top Ten British Hotels."

Never say never but it doesn't seem like an "extras" place.

i have not been to that one but to the Beaconsfield one  - and it certainly was flamboyant and boutique. And expensive. As i said in my previous post, its highly likely to be "legit" only and no extras.

Many thanks for all the replies and comments, I might just book a fabulous Thai massage at that great price. And who knows.....

I think you will find it is completely legit my missis had a massage at Stadhampton and when we arrived no one was around so I opened the door which wasnt locked and some old women was having a massage :wackogirl: its not really the type of place to get extras

The seven course tasting lunch is nice and usually available on a groupon deal as is the massage, but there is not the remotest chance that your massage will come with extras

I heard that the Crazy Bear in Beaconfield was a renowned knocking shop.

Maybe more of a Sugerbabe/Daddy set-up.

No evidence just hearsay.

Went to the Beaconsfield one for lunch a few years ago - very expensive and the interior is fitted out like a poor taste Russian brothel...

Offline Redhotparamour

Had massage at Beaconsfield.
Completely legit "pants on" experience.
No hint of extras and suspect asking wouldn't go down too well.
Very good though.
Skilled masseuse, heated table.
Can use the pool and have a drink afterwards.

You could be right - i went there with one of my SB's and noticed at least one other older guy with a younger lady! So maybe him/her too!
