Personally, if I had those kind of thoughts, or even making them merely as an observation, which I'm assuming the OP meant, I'd be keeping them very much to myself.

But for balance, the OP wasn't saying he was thinking of committing an offence, nor had he committed one, he was making an observation about a similarity in looks to his sister.
