Fancied a P&D and thought she looked good.

Sent a text asking for availability, received confirmation with a price list (as per AW) and listed extras (FK, ANAL); I wanted to speak to her, tired to call and was told to ‘text only’.

Got the post code, on arrival requested the door number but was told they’ll come and meet me outside one of the businesses (this had my back up); I said okay and waited...then a Sergei type bloke appeared clutching his phone; luckily other people were about and he didn’t know I was the punter - I didn't go ahead.

I might have been over cautious but went with my gut feeling; just felt uneasy as to why the meeting was being arranged in this manner.

You're a be-ribboned vet of North London, any reason you felt so spooked?  Something about the specific locale?  Recent experiences in sounding out others from perhaps the same crew?

Is Enfield council/constabulary cracking down hard on brothels?

Any uptick in suspect traffickers using the area?

To be honest LL, it just felt odd to be escorted by a male; this has never happened in all my years of punting. I could be overthinking it but just didn't feel comfortable.

Unless they're escorting you down a deserted, concealed alley and looking twitchy they're probably not a threat.  I always get them to lead the way and make sure there's no one lurking to either side as I pass down passageways.
It does allow them to screen possible troublesome punters, whether attitude or under the influence.

I've been met this way a few times over the years when visiting Chinese, Latina and EE SPs which did ring possible trafficking bells.  None of those guys were aggressive or intimidating, similarly male security on-site have always been low-key, which I suppose only goes to prove that they're not trying to draw attention to themselves as anything sinister even if they are.
The Caucasian guys were more imposing with their bulk. 
I've walked after meeting more than a few SPs guarded in such a way and never had fuss from the hired muscle.
