I’ve attempted to meet Amie a handful of times now. Every time is roughly the same.

As she makes clear, she works another job and availability is on her days off which for the most part seems to be a few weekdays but it’s not always the same from what I can tell.

She doesn’t reply to texts unless she’s supposedly working the next day/same day. That’s not a problem, completely makes sense. But it does mean that planning far in advance is pretty impossible.


I’ve had a reply most days she’s advertising as available. On a couple of occasions I’ve put down a time, shes said she can do that time, I arrive close and park up, then no replies when I say I’m nearby.


The fact she only advertises specific days and times around her other work, suggests that she does have intention of taking real bookings.

In fairness, the word ‘confirmed’ never gets mentioned so maybe I’d have better luck by really strongly establishing that she can 100% confirm that time. But this isn’t something I’ve ever had to do with any other booking, the wording during the exchange usually makes it pretty obvious we’ve agreed a time and duration…



She does work from very close to me so I’ll attempt again in the near future. I usually message in the morning to arrange bookings for the afternoon. Last minute bookings tend not to be the preference I’ve found, but perhaps since her attention wanders off so easily, it’s better to get very close to the location and message that I’d like to meet ‘now’.


If I have better luck with that then I’ll come back and update the review. But until then, it has to be a negative since I’ve been left scrambling for other plans due to her lack of replying when the time arrives.

Thanks OP for that review. I’m too far away to try again when she is so flaky. But I agree if you are close then it’s worth it to keep trying as others have been lucky.

She just seems very scatty and disorganised. But to stop responding or make excuses at the last minute is too much in my book. She doesn’t care about anyone else’s time and effort.

I think it’s unprofessional for this line of work, but it’s probably exactly how it should be for her. She just wants to pick up a booking here and there for her own amusement and income boost now and then I assume, with no interest in being properly professional about it.

I personally don’t hold that against her because if I were in her shoes I’d probably do the same.

I just hope that if I eventually do manage to see her then that side of it is a positive review
