Just checked AW and at least 50 profiles have disappeared since last night within the 20 mile radius of my postcode

The site appears to have new rules in place from today related to Mastercard and profile verification. They seem to be hiding profiles en masse until profiles are suitably verified. A number have disappeared from my AW hotlists this morning.

Yeah, someone I had in my HL disappeared. They wrote a blog last week saying they weren’t happy to be verified and advised existing clients to take a note of her phone number. Not sure what they are going to do, VS or another site?

Noticed another profile on my hotlist has now added 6 years to her age  so imagine we are going to see more accurate ages on profiles now. If it stops some of these scam accounts and gives us more accurate info then that’s useful at least.

I have lost about a third of my HL (10 profiles), which suprised me as I thought most were reliable and genuine. Four of the missing 10 were sub/dom specialists, although I don't know if that means anything; another two were virtually inactive. Also, lost 20% of my seen list, which is less surprising as it goes back a way, and they were probably largely inactive. None of my TS list have gone. It will be interesting to see how many reappear over the coming days.

How will the Mastercard regulations changes affect me? 

Any website that accepts Mastercard as a payment method (Worldwide), where members upload images are affected by these regulations.

As so many customers use Mastercard, we must comply with these regulations to ensure those customers can still subscribe to your content or enjoy your DirectCam, Movies & Phone Chat sessions

AdultWork.com has created a solution to support you through these changes, with the new Content Consent area

Some of the changes are as follows:

Content Creators must obtain and keep on record written consent from all persons depicted in the content specific to the following areas:

    Consent to be depicted in the content.

    Consent to upload the content to sites like AdultWork.com

Mastercard requires the Content Creator to verify the identity and age of all persons, depicted in the content, are adults and to be able to provide supporting documents upon request.

 

Why has my profile been hidden?

To be compliant with the new Mastercard regulations, sites like AdultWork.com must only permit content uploads from verified content providers. 

We have sent out emails to all non-verified members, so if you have been affected by this after the 15th Oct, please check your emails and follow the links to verify.

 

Do I need to upload any documents to AdultWork.com?

The quick answer is no, but we need you to confirm you have the documents and have checked the ID’s and age of all persons in your content. 

This confirmation is done in the Content Consent area.

However, we may have to request you to provide the documents in accordance with the new Mastercard regulations.

 

Do I need to delete some of my content?

Again, the quick answer is no, any content which is not confirmed as having consent will be automatically hidden. 

This will give you time to obtain all the correct documentation, then you can confirm consent and the content will be viewable again.

 

What content is affected?

All profile photos, Free and Private Galleries, Movies, Erotica and any other areas where content is displayed on the site.

 

I’m an Escort how will it affect me?

If you have a profile photo or any content on AdultWork.com, then yes, as well as any other content you may have on your profile.

 

I’m a DirectCammer how will it affect me?

The same as all other profiles, but in addition, each time you click broadcast you will be asked to click an additional consent confirmation, this should only take a few extra seconds.

 

I have lots of existing content on my profile, how will this be affected?

We have created a Content Consent area. In this area you will be able to confirm consent of all your content in a few simple steps. 

As soon as this area is live, we will be contacting you with an update to this page, please check your email linked to your profile.

 

I don’t have any other persons in my content, it’s all just solo.

You will still need to confirm your consent in the Content Consent area, but simply click ‘I am the only person to appear in the content’. It’s a very quick process.

 

If I don’t have the Content Consent documents for all my content, what do I do?

As an example, if you have 200 movies and you don’t have consent documents for 50 of them, perform the high-level consent in the Content Consent area, then:

    Go into your movie library and click on ‘More’ (three little dots to the right of the movie) 
    Then click on Manage Consent button 
    Then click the Revoke button. 

This will remove the consent for only that movie, and then the movie will be hidden.

We will be providing ‘How to’ videos ASAP to give you a step-by-step guide to support these changes.

 

How do I access the Content Consent area?

In each of the areas where your content is uploaded, there will be a very clear ‘Manage Consents’ button which will direct you to fill out the consent for just this content.

What happens if I do nothing?

I don’t have a Mastercard personally, so why is my content affected?

The changes are needed to ensure customers can purchase credits on sites like AdultWork.com, and it has nothing to do with an individual member having a Mastercard or not.

The bug “404” is happening on verified profiles. It’s temperamental. One minute their profile comes up, next it doesn’t, and then it’s back again.

I also noticed on aw enjoys list watersports (giving) and watersports (receiving) now been merged to watersports is this related to these requirements in some way?

My profile had the 404 error last night, I am verified and have no content with anyone else other than me.  I eventually found the consent button on movie clips and free pictures which i clicked and my profile came back.  Apparently the consent for PG is going to appear after the weekend

There were many genuine profiles that have now disappeared & I suspect many wont be coming back.  Lots of girls I’ve spoken to over the years have stated that they aren’t prepared to upload their ID to AW so my question is where will they now advertise?

I have also had a brief scoot around to see if the doms, etc. have relocated elsewhere, but none are appearing as yet. (It is easiest to do this for doms/mistresses as these tend to use the same workname across multiple contact sites).

I looked on VS for my area and it was just EE profiles for the most part. I thought they would resurface on there.

I would imagine it may take time for profiles to reappear, not least because AW have probably never had so much work to do. Imagine the backlog of stuff needing to be checked for compliance, and checked it must be because they cannot afford to fall foul of Mastercard

A quick check shows these profiles don't have a "verified member" on them, so have AW relented now they have seen a hit on revenue ?

After a sudden shrink a couple of weeks ago, I have seen my HL swell back to what it probably used to be.

But in my list of SPs I have made bookings with or communicated with I am still finding some where  the profile is not available.

These are in the main older ladies who may have decided they they do not want to go through verification processes and have either called it a day or are happy that they already have plenty regulars to keep them going.

One very much part timer I know had not logged on to AW for about 6 weeks. I dropped her line to tell her what was happening and it looks as if her profile is safe now.

I feel it’s a lot to do with some SPs not having the required documentation to be able to be fully verified. I don’t use VS but understand they are not as strict as AW, so many SPs will migrate over to VS I suspect.
