Not to ask a totally naive question, but do you strip naked for the massage right from the off? Or do you ask/offer/have some secret handshake? I don’t want to make a total tit of myself!
If you visit a shop or an Indepent masseuse they will show you to the room and ask you to undress.
Occasionally they will stay in the room with you but most will leave room saying, "I'll be back in a minute"
Sometimes there will be a towel rolled up on the Massage table.
Returning to your question :-
1) if she says, "leave your boxers on", then do so ... it's probably going to be a very legit massage with no "naughtyness".
2) if she says nothing then you can either ask, "pants on or off?" or just strip off completely.
3) you then lay on the table face down and await her return.
4) if there was a loose towel on the Massage table either put it over your bum or discard by putting it on the chair.
Most Thai ladies will initially cover you with a towel as their massage tends to start with them "crawling" over you, kneading you with elbows, knees etc The towel then gets removed when they start the oil part of the Massage. If the towel stays on and they just uncover each part of the body as they massage it ... bad luck ... it's a legit massage.
Chinese ladies rarely cover you with a towel ... some are quite blatant and will give you a playful slap on the bum when they return.
If "extras" are available they will probably whisper in your ear half way through saying, "what would you like today?"
