Went to a pub last night night.

They had a rock  band on.

Not a word of a lie, they looked older than the Rolling Stones  :(

Whats the oldest band or singer you have ever seen live ?  :)

PS. They were quite good actually.

Last time I saw Hawkwind Dave Brock must have been around 78

Edgar Froese was 70 when I last saw Tangerine Dream (he died not long after)

King Crimson had three members over 70 the last time I saw them

Nowadays, there is no retirement age  :)

Plus, with the technology they have now, they could even make me sound good, and I'm tone-deaf.

I saw the Stones in 2022 when Mick was 79, Keith 78 and Ronnie 74. They totally rocked the gig and it was one of the best performances from them that I have seen and I've seen them loads of times.

 a band I'd always wish to see. They played Coventry's Ricoh arena a few years ago but as expected sold out very quickly *
Did you see them at Villa Park ?

* one thing I would never do is pay ticket tout prices to see a band no matter how much I like them.

I saw Tangerine Dream probably in the early 80's.  One of the first bands I ever saw live.

B.B.King performed at the New Orleans Jazz Festival in 2013.
In 2014 he performed at the House of Blues in Chicago.
In 2015 he died aged 89.

Always ready to rock the house, the King of the Swingers Geno Washington is the incarnation of all things '60s. Hipsters and flipsters.

Geno Washington, in his 80's and still rocking!

Some excellent choices there Mr SB - respect

I guess it's probably Alice Cooper, who is still kicking ass at 76 years.

Saw Lindisfarne in Liverpool in January.   Rod Clements still going strong at 76.

I saw them in Coventry too, but they’ve never played at Villa Park.

It's a good job you didn't see them on tyneside, it would have been too foggy  :D

It was 2015 when I  saw the Sun Ra Arkestra which makes it that Marshall Allen was 91 then. Freaky jazz is not what you usually get from someone that age.
