The 6 month limit for reviews has been extended to 12 months for new members.

Means they can start contributing, which is a benefit for all

I have to say, a lot of the new members' review are pretty damn good. Well written, lots of detail, sensible and measured opinions.

They could teach some of us old-timers a few things

I'll second that, forum is much the better for the new bloods.

At least a couple added to my HL as well for the future.   :)

....of course I’m sceptical but a few previously banned troublemakers are bound to be in there. They will no doubt be weeded out in due course.

Probably, but a week ago you'd log on and be lucky if there was more than a handful of posts each day.

From my own point of view, I've wanted to join up for ages and contribute.  This site has been a terrific source of knowledge for me and I'm sure my fellow newbies echo that

It's certainly a good thing to see the new members posting reviews and contributing in general...

Some WGs that haven't previously been reviewed and also another view on one's that have previously been reviewed...

Some of the "members" could take a leaf out of their book that have been on here for years and don't have a single post or review to their name (contribute fuck all, in other words) and just lurk/leech...

The amount of reading I need to do, whenever I log in, is fucking ridiculous. I’m all for inclusivity, good written reviews, balanced opinions and generally all round good behaviour but can’t the newbies slow down a bit?

Hell man! The reviews section has had tumbleweed blowing through it for the best part of a year. Read faster
