Anyways, fast forward to August 2020. Booked to see her as my first post lockdown session around 10 days ago. Texts exchanged the night before the meet, all good.
Also sent a text as I set off on the day of the session but didn't get a reply. I wasn't too worried by this as I knew she had to drop her youngster off for childcare while she was working.
Arrived at the house. Sent a text asking if I could come in. No reply. Waited 5 minutes, sent another text. No reply. Got out of the car and had a look around. Saw a guy at her door. Rang her number. No reply. Fired off a couple more texts with the same success as the earlier ones and drove home, cursing myself for not having a Plan B lined up.
Around 2 hours after I got home, received an apologetic message, which went something like: family member paid an unexpected visit, spotted DIY job that needed doing, insisted on fixing it before he left. At the same time, her phone died and her charger packed up. A perfect storm. The text offered a substantial discount if I booked again.
Rebooked for a few days later. Sent confirmation text the day before. No reply after 6 hours. Tried to send A/W email but her account was no longer active. Lined up a Plan B this time though - Thai Natalie of Preston, who I reviewed earlier this year. Texted Sophie on the morning of the session to say if I hadn't heard from her by the time I was due to set off I would assume it was a no-go. No text received and so Plan B put into operation.
Maybe she needs to read her customer service training manual again.
