I wonder when we will see massage shops open again?

I have tried ringing Lotus in Dorchester but haven't got a reply.

Last time I spoke to Amy just after lockdown she was trying to get a flight back to China ASAP and wasn't coming back until the country had returned to normality. At least in respect to massage services anyway.

Given its location, its not as if it can re-open until allowed to by law. My guess is that it will be the same date as hairdressers.

Amy will not doubt reopen when she can, last time I spoke with her, she did say she wasn't sure how it would work, as all (most) the massage girls had gone back to China, so there would be a shortage of staff.

I think this is going to be the case for a lot of places that rely on the overseas Chinese girls. There are a few that also relied on UK based Chinese girls so I expect those will find it easier to re-open when allowed. I know that a few of the UK based ones those have worked at Lotus in the past, so maybe Amy will be able to get those back.

Just had a text saying they are now open but it's advanced bookings only and the rooms are sanitized after every client. So just call in the morning and you should be fine.

As for extras I imagine these might be slightly reserved and dependent on the lady. Bit like before then!

Amy isn't there at the moment, should be coming down tomorrow so if you can book today it definitely won't be her you see.

Everyone has been assuming that there would be a 4th July start.

Some have "jumped the gun", it'll be even more interesting to see what "they'll" (not just Lotus but all shops) do now that the 4th July hasn't been ratified.

Near me there are council inspectors going round checking adherance to COVID rules. But I think the forthcoming July 4th rules are just recommendations not legal requirements. Anyway I doubt whether the council has the power to fine rule breakers just request their closure so some massage parlours may push their luck or maybe just open for telephone appointments on the quiet.

So are they still open and running.

From reading over massage place reviews like the ones in Exeter it seems it's going to be pretty basic in terms of extras, definitely not like before. Probably best to just book a 30min elsewhere and have all your needs fulfilled rather than be disappointed.

I dunno, I'm still weighing it up. It's my birthday on Wednesday and I'm looking to treat myself somewhere.

FWIW I'm doing a TOFTT long trip to Malta in 10 days to check out their massage parlours, they have many. They are back on but not sure if theyre fully back to normality.

The gates were wide open when I went past earlier and Amy is definitely there today, don't know if there are any other Girls working though.

It's a Massage shop. If they advertised anything else then they would be closed down.

If you're not interested in massage then don't go to a Massage shop. There are NO guarantees of anything else.

Every shop, every lady in that shop is different.

Some (most but not all) will offer HE. Some (but definitely not all) might offer topless and/or B2B.

Anything else is rare (despite occasional reports to the contrary).

Amy is a seasoned pro in the business, so as long as you're not an idiot, you'll get what you pay for for - her body is what you'd expect it to be, nothing amazing. Her massage is actually pretty decent too.

The other girls who work there are almost always younger, so a little more attractive, but sometimes not as skilled/experienced.

Like all these places that have girls on a 2 week rota basis, its pot luck, there have been some real stunners there on occasion
