1. The church of iron. I don't have any weights at home to do my daily prayers so the church of iron was where I'd go to worship and repent. Now the cumulative sins of the flesh decay the gains I'd made.

2. I miss being able to go to my local Burger King to grab a quick bite after work. Or going to the Tesco to grab chicken from the hot counter after a gruelling workout.

3. Being able to escape to a different county during the weekends.

You should deffo check out ATP finals , your based in london rite. Prices are not bad and you get to see the top players.

Wimbledon is really hard to get tickets for.

ATP finals are great, saw a few sessions with hospitality a few years back - all the top players close up but you can't beat the atmosphere of Wimbledon (if you can get tickets!).

My first time at Wimbledon two years ago was amazing. I was successful in the ballot and was allocated Centre Court tickets.

ATP finals will be moving to Italy, not China.

My first impressions of tennis (wimbledon) were formed by the fact it used to interupt the bbc's coverage of the test match back when i was a boy and sky sports had never been dreamed of. I.e. it was irritating and dull ... nothing in the past 40 or 50 years has happened to change my view, with the possible brief exception of yvonne goolagongs frilly knickers

Someone who watches five-day matches thinks tennis is boring? That's hilarious.

By the way, I used to watch cricket.

I think most women tend to like tennis ... my wife would have been similarly irritated by the bbc attempting to cover both wimbledon and cricket and therefore not covering either properly ... but to her the cricket wojld be interupting the tennis

It was hilarious at my family's house last year. We were trying to watch the men's Wimbledon final and the cricket World Cup final.

I have been to Wimbledon a number of times over the years, fantastic when its not cold and raining, not been since they have had the roof.

Along with Golf, Tennis is my fave sport, I literally cant stand Cricket, a load of boring old shite that is but even that is infinitely better than Rugby, though there is a specific reason I despise Rugby. I unfortunately went to a school where the sports teachers were ex-Rugby players and evil, nasty, violent nutters the lot of them, put me off it. I spotted the head of sports back then in a shop a few years ago. I let rip telling him what I thought of him, he didn't remember, too senile, I felt like smashing his face in and stamping on his head but decided not to descend to his level of inhumanity.

Sports wise I have already missed watching the Masters Golf, will miss watching Wimbledon obviously and the Olympics.

More generally I am missing not being able to get my hair cut, I look a bigger cunt than I usually do. Missing not being able to shop when suits me, and seeing some family and friends.

Tim "bottle job" Henman, every year I invested time in that prick and every year he bottled it when it mattered at Grand Slam level. Thank fuck for Andy Murray who eventually proved he wasn't a bottler though it took him many Grand Slam finals to do so. Ivan Lendl was crucial to Murray as he had been in a similar situation himself before winning many Grand Slams though never Wimbledon. I do like Henmans commentary of matches now though.

The pressure Murray was under like Henman also was to do well at Wimbledon was immense, Murray was able to find a way to win in 2013, once of fave all-time sporting moments, and once more to prove it wasn't a fluke. IMO his big mistake was in his quest to be world number 1 which he has said he never thought he would ever have the chance to be with 3 all-time greats playing at the same time, he played too much, far too much. He did make number 1 but from that point onward at Grand Slam level singles its been all downhill. Cant say I blame him as being number 1 means huge money and he cashed in big time not that he needed the money, but he wanted as much as I could get and the prestige of it. Good luck to him.

I sadly think it unlikely he will win another Grand Slam, I hope I am wrong. The big 3 are all still going strong, any of the 3 could be the greatest ever when their careers end, it could well be they are 1, 2 and 3 greatest players ever. Murray is not an all-time great but did win 3 Grand Slams and 2 Olympic Gold Medals, I have no doubt if it weren't for the big 3 he would of won many more GS titles.

Rafa will undoubtedly go down in history as  Clay King now debates there.

Djokovic - hardcourt
Federer - grass court

Overall -  i know this is debateable but it has to be The Fed (IMO)

Murray was a could have... unfourtunate the timing of his injury after ranking 1st as the following year the top 3 had a bad year and their would have been little challenge for him at his peak.

Yes no doubt Rafa is the best Clay court player ever. At present I put Federer as the best ever player but Rafa and Djokovic still have time to overtake him I think. However to me Rafa only winning more French Opens doesn't add to him being the best ever player. On the other hand Federer has only won 1 French Open, same with Djokovic but that's due obviously to how good Rafa has been in the main.

I do also agree Federer is the best Grass court player followed at present by Sampras in my view.

I am not sure Djokovic is the best Hard Court player ever, I would need to see the stats which I haven't checked, but no doubt he is very near the top as is Federer. The great thing is the best ever IS one of these 3 and any of them could win more Grand Slams. The greatest mens tennis era ever in my opinion.

Nothing wrong with a tennis discussion, it's normal for threads to go off on tangents. This is the off-topic section after all.

I occasionally wander over to saafe forums to see how the other side thinks and boy ive never come across a forum run like its under martial law. The slightest strayings offtopics get constantly reminded (unless the mod goes off course themself) even their off topic posts have to strictly be about the OP . Its no wonder some escorts feel patronized there.
