Pay and Display is available with a maximum stay of eight hours; pay at the ticket machine or by telephone, the signs give the number to call. On weekends parking is free and there was plenty to choose from on the day of my visit.
The area felt safe enough on a Sunday afternoon, and not very busy so my arrival and departure were discrete enough although awkward as the steps are rough-cast and quite steep. You must proceed carefully and hold the rail.
The flat's décor is ok, and it's serviceable enough for the use it's getting. It does need some low level maintenance; the showerhead was loose in the bath as the mounting for it was missing and the taps could be more clearly marked as to which is which. In most places the hot tap is on the left; HoD's is the other way around and I nearly had a cold shower as a result!
The towel which Emmy used to cover the bed was clean although beginning to fray around the edges. There's a plentiful supply of towels and I was given another one—which appeared clean and serviceable—to shower with.
THE GIRL
