Appointment made by text a few days before for a morning slot offered by the SP who was aware I was traveling from out of the area on my way to a meeting. SP requested text confirmation on the morning once I was on my way.

Text confirmation sent 1.5 hrs before the appointment, no response, the worries started. Located the post code and parked discreetly in a nearby street, texted 10 minutes before the appointment to advise arrival and seek final instructions when ready. No response. At the appointment time sent a further text questioning if there was a problem, no reply and 10 minutes after the appointment start time a further text advising I was now leaving and how disappointed I was at the waste of my time and fuel.

No reply received to any of those texts, no apology, complete time waster.

  looks like this particular lady is now very unreliable after a recent good review. No excuses for not replying to your texts. Looks like a complete timewaster now.

That can be infuriating! I was considering this one, but I too would be traveling a decent distance, so she’s most firmly knocked on the head. Thanks for reviewing.

To add some balance to the debate - I cancelled her this week at 4 hours notice due to a genuine family emergency.

She accepted my apology and we swapped 2/3 pleasant texts and she said I could re-book when possible.

No hint of being pissed with me and was understanding and decent to communicate with.

I won’t be wasting my time with her now too. Common courtesy goes a long way. I’d be peeved if I drove 30 mins for her to do that too. Off my list she goes too.

Maybe she's inundated with 'inappropriate' messages as evidenced on most of the threads about her. Sounds like you may know her and these are her words to you. Have you visited her recently, if so what was your experience.

Nothing inappropriate in any of my messages to suggest I would be anything other than respectful. Didn’t ask for hr or anything, she should have assumed from my messages that I was seeking legitimate massage.

I think its more likely she got more busy than she could manage. But nothing excuses not sending a text before the appointment, at the appointment time, or as is still the case, afterwards to apologise. In my opinion it just demonstrates complete contempt and lack of common decency.

Wasn't having a pop at you specifically just the way these massage providers get treated in general which may lead to strange or unacceptable behaviour which not replying to your texts certainly is. You are justifiably upset.  She seemed to have stood someone else up as well? Family emergency who knows? Or just flaky and unreliable.

I think I would text her and tell her how upset you are and ask for an explanation. If there is no explanation or an inadequate apology you know what she's really like and best avoided.
