Meet happened last week arranged 4 days in advance. Vee is well reviewed on here but for those who have not read the reviews all comms are via AW and handled efficiently. To deal with the questions/comments raised in the last few post by various UKP members in one hit and trust guys will find it useful. Take comments below entirely based on my punt and no other review or profile.

Oddly enough i have sort of argued my way into making it seem like i am against choice. i promise that i am not. i am very PRO choice. its just the ambiguity of the race and age that is excluded as per the way her profile is worded that for some reason set me off ... i kind of went into a regressed version of myself and thought "well if you are going to say all people of a certain color are banned then just say so...why are you hiding it!!"

she can do what she wants, there are so many options out there its nice to be told when 1 is not part of the massive group of choices

i agree with what you are saying, truly..those reasons are just as good as any for excluding people.... just that from my perspective and life experiences i dont like any marginalisation of race / age in a throw away care free sense ..i.e "they are black. dont like them. they do this and they will do that..."

No, you were actually very clear about your support of her choice - from memory, you wrote as much several times, and even burnished it with a 'more power to her' sentiment on top. You seemed to be expressing regret that her embargoes would undeservingly preclude a bunch of punters and perhaps add to a sense of exclusion they may be experiencing elsewhere too. You were quite reasonable and proportionate about it, and I take my hat off to you for that. It may indeed be that she has instinctive prejudices (as most of us do, in some way); although I had some feeling, no more than a hunch really, that her race-bar is more designed to prevent the chance of being outed.

Similarly, with the age preference: yes, I am sure she realises that she is cutting off many perfectly pleasant prospective punters - though from her perspective it might only seem like a postponement...  and, if her experience is that for every lovely, easy-going under-25 year old, she runs the risk of having to cater for four over-energetic and demanding ones, then presumably that's a price that she things is worth paying. In her shoes, I might do the same, depending on how cash-hungry I was.
