I love the fact that a lot of reviews in the past week start with “and this happened before the lockdown”
What WGs and punters alike do are their own business, we are adults and should know right from wrong. That said rules are made to be broken - but I’ll opt for being responsible and healthy. I said my goodbyes to the Diva crew when I threw in the towel... and wished the good luck.
Fact that these ladies are working there is “jack” anyone of us can do about it unless you want to dish out a few £100’s a day for nothing to keep them happy? They are locked down too... Just like we are. I can't imagine they are extremely busy. I can’t even imagine or think to punt in times like this or during the punt what huge risk I will be taking. It’s not like life or death... well it I might be 😂
Most of those still around will either leave ASAP when this lockdown is lifted or be so jaded and riddled in debt. A new and fresh truck load will arrive on easyJet (if they don’t go bust) and we’ll forget all this hullabaloo.
These girls have to pay rent and commission and those flats are NOT cheap, even worse they are stuck at hope and have to cook instead of those fancy restaurants.
I won't call them stupid, silly, disappointing, desperate... Caught up in the system maybe (and irresponsible) the smart ones probably saw it coming and caught the early flights. They must be thanking their stars to an extend.
If your employer is still paying you, you still have your job, saved loads and secure - then consider yourself the 1% that will be ok.
Best get back to knitting my punting jumper ready for June. 😂😂😂
