Before you all lynch me, I’ve actually spent the last hour writing out 6 reviews but they range from 09/18 to 12/18. I’ll post them if I’m allowed, can somebody confirm?
I haven’t punted this year due to a bit of a “nearly busted” incident, I’ve had to lie low. Getting back on it in 2020 though.
Like I say, I’m happy to post my reviews if somebody can confirm that I won’t cause another issue. Just want you guys to play nice and not tear me a new one. Not sure why all the hostility.
Well then I can’t win here can I.
I get roasted for not posting reviews when I try and join in a conversation, and then get told I can’t post reviews as the punts were over 6 months ago.
What else can I do.
@Daviemac ?
The problem is not the fact you're joining in with a bit of banter, it's what you're saying, you named an SP and bragged about how good it was and how many times you popped, yet you didn't bother to post a review.
On your other point, the rules are very clear,
reviews have to be of meeting that took place within the last 6 months, and before anybody comments about the wording, it's all reviews, positive, negative or neutral. Please don't make an issue of it and have Admin correct it like he had to regarding photos. The rule used to be within 12 months but that has been shortened.
We are doing our best to encourage new posters, but sometimes those posters don't help themselves. had you joined in with a more general topic this situation wouldn't have arisen. take the criticism on board, don't take it to heart, and carry on, post a review as and when you have a punt.
FWIW in my opinion, purely as a member, I tend to think threads of this nature are an excuse to brag.
Edit
The reason it says 'positive or negative' in the rules is because in the past there was no time limit on negatives, only 12 months for positive. Don't forget at one time there was no facility to post neutrals.
