That's a bit shit. For whatever reason, a polite, "sorry I don't think another meet will work out" is the least you could expect. She was very much mea culpa with the issue a while back and gave the impression she'd up her game. Perhaps that was only a damage limitation exercise.

Was the experience as per her profile - you only pad for the drinks in your social meet? It's an intriguing way to set up a punt and good to see if there's any chemistry (i.e. whether it's worth the greater outlay).
