As requested on a discussion thread by @Fuzzyduck here is a short review of my (non) meeting with External Link/Members Only or External Link/Members Only recently.

She has been on my hot list for a while and I decided over the weekend to try for a booking in the week. This is the story.

Sunday I sent AW mail asking if she was free on the day I wanted.  I didn't realise immediately that the response was an autoresponse.  Reading it now,(see text below) it rather obviously was, but I was multitasking! (my excuse).

So I sent a further AW mail giving time, length of appointment and stating in-call.  Of course, on getting exactly the same response I twigged (duh) that it was an automatic mail and then sent a text with exactly the same information.

Exchanged texts then fixed the time and I sent an AW booking to confirm.  Here is the confirmed booking.

I did not call because the booking had been confirmed but sent a text saying I would text for address on the morning of the booking.

I rang on the morning but got not response, so texted at about half nine.  I followed that with call + text at about ten and about 10:30 with no response to any of those.  I sent a final "anybody there" text at 10:45 and a "I guess this isn't happening then" text at 11:00.

Early afternoon I got an apology text, saying "didn't sleep well last night - sorry I slept through".  As my Plan B had just fallen through too (bad day, long story!) I texted straight back "Not free now by any chance?". That didn't work out, which was fair enough.  End of that was a text from me saying "Maybe next week then, you could always offer me a discount (wink emoji)".  No reply to that at all!!

Funnily enough my favourite regular started off a bit like this, though she gave me a running commentary on her problems and tried to offer me a discount by way of compensation which i didn't take when I subsequently saw her.  She's a diamond - (should learn my lesson and not go looking) - but I think Lucy would do better if she took a leaf out of her book.
