External Link/Members Only , I commented on how 2018 hadn't been a good year for me. What with the retirement of a much-appreciated Regular at the start of that year, and the difficulties in adequately replacing her - including WGs not replying to perfectly reasonable requests for an appointment; one or two or those who did being resistant to the polite charms I've cultivated over the years; and other little pinpricks, I'd begun to feel a jaded old punter.
