Anyone every tried using EMLA/lidocaine cream so it takes longer to cum? Does it work?

I used to regularly use Superdragon 6000 spray with a regular SB. It can be bought from lovehoney is pretty good. Though any more than 2 sprays and your cock goes numb to the point of no sensitivity.
