So been putting a bit of money aside for next punt. Finally got to the £150 limit i set myself and been having a hunt around on AW.
Been trying to find a possible non Rom for a change as suggested on here, sent out feelers etc.

 :unknown:
Now he comes the Typical bit!!!

Went to check motorbike other day and found tyre flat as fook.  :scare:
So arrange to have it repaired as I need for work, So cost to fix puncture was around £40, then find out need new tyre, cost goes up to around £130, Then last but not least Brake pads need replacing now.

Total cost £155

Oh well did not want a punt this month anyway  :dash:

So do others have stories like this when they just got the cash up and something from nowhere happens?

If you have to save up to find £150, you need to earn more money.

If you have to save up to find £150, you probably shouldn't be punting.....

That’s a bit of a silly statement. As many others here are married or in committed relationships they can’t make the money come out of their account so would have to be cautious about it.

I know someone who has some financial ambitions and had to cut down his punting to achieve them.

I know some of us here earn 100k after tax but really isn’t your position to judge. Feel free to buy him a punt if you fancy helping him out.

To answer your question OP it’s usually the reverse for me. I usually need to buy something or pay for something then afterwards it is no longer required. I use that spare cash for punting and I guess my reaction is “Just typical lol” because 9 times out of 10 the punt was terrible!

Fully agree !

Whilst some on this site may be able to spend £150 or whatever ‘at the drop of a hat’, there are those is us that can’t, myself included.

Seven months and no reviews. Either he’s one of those that “doesn’t do reviews” or is here to provide financial advice for us punters to maximise our budgets
