Thinking of staying here in the next few months . It's just off soi buhkao ( probably spelt wrong ) Any pointers would be welcome.

Mixed reviews on trip advisor
Its quite cheap but in a good location, if you've been to pattaya before you know you get what you pay for  :(
My favourites are Areca Lodge soi Diana and the LK Renaissance also on soi Diana, both very good but about the £30 mark in low season

Yes , I agree a mixed bag of reviews on Tripadviser , but I suspect quite a few of them are not quite kosher. That's why I started this thread to find out from " our punting community " any pointers as to the actual experience of staying at Chaba Hut .

How long you in town for? Why not book two nights, and if you don't fancy it move, Soi bukhao is a ideal area, close to soi LK Metro, and a 10thb ride down to corner of South Patts Rd and Second Rd if you want go Walking St, there are numerous locations to pick, I never book a room for my full stay in town, you can walk into most hotels without pre-booking, I never use Agoda or other sites for Patts, only in PI, you never know when you have a stalking bargirl, and need to relocate covertly to a new area.   :wackogirl::hi:

A good mate who is a punter  stays there every time he is in Pattaya. Good location, price, nice pool and girl friendly

As Jerboa says, book for one or two nights and if it suits you, extend

Yes we all have our crosses to bear, some of these thai birds could get a job with MI5, seem to always know where you've been and how to find you.

A stalking Bar Girl ! Yes I suppose that could be a problem . I am aiming to stay for 4 weeks , will take the advice given and book for a few nights then either extend , or do a tactical relocation .

Stalker aside it’s actually quite nice to move so you have a different set of bars on your doorstep, mixes things up a bit and makes you visit other areas.

Yes agree with that, 4 weeks in one hotel is a long time

True, sometimes I may do a week up in soi 6, then a week down by WS.
