I decided I might need a bit of fun to see in the new year so I put in a reverse booking on 30th December for a 2 hour booking starting 11pm on 31st December. It got about 7 bids but most of them were useless.
So for the sake of anything better, I accepted hers. I should have taken the hint from her previous no-shows but the last of those was 18 months ago, and her feedback here was mixed.
In any case, she had a long journey to make so was going to text me when she was about 15 minutes away. Instead, at 10:46pm she texted an apology that her nan had just died. By that time, she should have been most of the way here, and she used the excuse of a family member dying and a family pet on previous occasions so it's clearly just an excuse for her when she doesn't feel like sticking to a booking.
So I have saved £250. But she has to get a negative to warn others off.
