I'd advise you to do some research, read reviews on here, etc then ask for further information on specific WGs, rather than asking for broad recommendations as we don't know your tastes. It's a reasonable bet that someone will have seen whoever you're looking at.

Just one point to pick out from your review. I like being spontaneous and seeing what emerges in a punt, but always have an idea in my mind about the types of dynamics, things I want to do, etc. You were in good hands on this punt but that won't always be the case and you should develop good habits from the outset.

Thanks to all of you who have replied, all advice taken on board.  I have done a lot of reading on this forum before finally taking the plunge, the kind of experience & types I am looking for are (from the info on here) best suited to the likes of the Mansfield lot, maybe Tolly?  Will update you as and when I get more experience!

That's one of the good habits I meant, and you reaped the rewards. You'll inevitably make some mistakes, exercise poor judgement, have some crap punts, etc. It happens to all of us and don't be too proud or afraid to review those too.
