I don't think the OP helped himself with his last post, however am I the only one that thinks new members should be given a chance to settle in and understand how the community works before we start to shoot them down ?

Some of the fiercest critics on here had been members for many years before any reviews were posted by them. Yet now we are having character assassinations after the first post for non contribution of reviews etc

Only my opinion but if we want the community to grow give the newbies a chance

What you failed to recognise, or chose to ignore, was the reason for asking about reviews in that thread was to find out which agencies he’d used and what type of prossie he was looking for, in order to actually help him.

Perhaps if you impart some words of wisdom regarding how to answer such ambiguous questions or even offer some help yourself instead of criticising those who do try to help the forum may be a better place for all.

In my opinion accusing members of character assassination equates to 'slagging off'.

I will ask you again how would you recommend we answer such ambiguous questions in order to avoid a repeat of this discussion.

To clarify, I wasn't slagging anyone off.

I simply expressed an opinion that at times existing members are harsh on newbies. For the community to grow and for us to benefit from the knowledge of others then new posters should be encouraged.

Asking for further information , as you did in one of your posts, and pointing them to the rules of the board is a good start.

The board seems to be quieter now than it once was, and I made what I thought was a valid observation

And as I said on my original post, happy punting everyone

I will do whatever I can to help members whether newbies or not, I do not however, suffer fools easily and I have no time whatsoever for trolls.

Just one last thing, can you explain this comment, or observation as you put it? -
