There was a Parliamentary launch for Hookers Against Hardship last night:

Quite difficult to oppose their aims IMO.

I'm presuming it's some worthy campaign to help prevent women being forced into prostitution out of desperation due to CoL and other rapid or insidious, creeping causes of poverty.  The pissed about punter in me would fantasise about it being a campaign by SPs to ensure all SPs deliver satisfying experiences where no erection was left standing and then review sites would be partially redundant; UKP would then just be a celebration of excellence and SPs would love us!

It's more an English Collective of Prrostitutes led campaign about the conditions of existing sex workers and economic and social policies which place them in a position of adversity compared to the rest of the working age population.

There's assorted links, videos and materials if you follow the main thread above and dig around a bit (,if so inclined).

Ah, fair 'nuff, marching on to proper legitimising of their presently legal trade and removing institutional and bureaucratic prejudices.

I'd imagine some of their economic demands would incur the wrath of some of the retired members of UKP who expected their prozzies to somehow magically appear when needed and not burden anyone else by their human existence.

Don't forget our resident tax inspectors...
