Bizarre. Only explantion I can think of is a Sutcliffe-type madman, or a deranged wife. Probably more likely the latter as the police are mentioned.

OP, have profiles in Crawley suddenly dried up? What on earth could the police thing be about. It's not illegal to advertise sexual services on AW?
