adultwork utilities script

made some utilities for personal use and i thought to share

for this you need the External Link/Members Onlyplugin (firefox users have to use External Link/Members Only but didn't test this on ff so no idea if works correctly, it should though)

after installing it you shoud have tampermonkey icon somewhere in yout browser screen, click on it then on dashboard

after that create a new script clicking on this icon

you should see this screen

now delete all the text and copypaste the text you'll find at this link into it

then click the save button

after doing all this stuff when opening an adultwork profile you should see 3 buttons on the upper left side of the page

i don't use the adultwork hotlist feature but just the browser favorites, problem is that landing on a profile gets you a different link depending on the search you did, see the long ass ink on the addess bar? clicking this button will strip all the junk and give a simple address with girl id so i can see if i've already favorited her or not and won't have duplicate profiles in my personal hotlist

once i wanted to download the pictures of a girl, the process to do that was
-click to enlarge the picture
-click to show the picture at full resolution
-since right click is disabled, open the page source to get the picture link
-download the image
final rating: fuck this shit / 10

with my script just click the button to get the full resolution profile pictures and free gallery links already selected to be copied and pasted in whatever download manager you use

however some girls graciously give us many pictures to analyze before biting the bullet and call, for those you have to open the gallery pages (the "click here" link) and click the show links button for each gallery page

Is this stuff safe? will it steal my passwords or kick my dog?
the text you have to copypaste in the link before is the source code, it means that anyone with basic javascript knowledge will see what it does and what not, if you don't feel safe just wait for someone else that will confirm it is

i know javascript but there is A LOT of unreadable stuff at he beginning, is that some l33t hacker code?
that's the minified jQuery code, not essential but it deals with so much bullshit in my place that makes me use it whenever i write anything in js

in the future i might
-make the buttons draggable around, they cover some stuff i don't use but others might
-show a quick review scores overview in page instead of redirecting you to ukpunting every time

I just used Google's "Search Google for..." on each jpg line with a right click and the pic appeared.  However, with the one WG profile I have tried it on I can't get the free gallery pic (there is only one) to react the way you showed.  It just repeated the 3 pics on her profile.  Also, will it work on PG pics?

it won't work on private galleries and probably never will because i'd need access to it to see how it works and if can be done, however i'm not going to waste money on it when i can just go spend it to bang the girl in the flesh

also if you have problems with some profiles tell me which are so i can see what's wrong

Thanks SF - that fix worked great.  No problem now.

While I know you said you were at some time going to introduce a way to move the boxes around so that they don't cover AW's boxes, I find that I CAN click on the covered AW boxes in the small area showing.

Clear your google browser cache if the icons dont appear first time, and dont look like it will work in incognito mode.

One follow-up question SF.  If a profile has a few free pics on her Free Gallery your software works.  If there are many it just says "extended gallery" - is there a maximum number of free pics that overloads the software and so it won't do anything more than advise of an "extended gallery"?

if a girl has so many free pics that they wont fit on a single gallery page is impossible to retrieve the links without going into each page and running the show links button, there's no maximum number of pics, you have to open each gallery page and click the show links button

Me too.     It suddenly appeared recently, though I didn't think I had updated the script.  Do scripts update themselves, or was it there when I last updated, but I never noticed because I hadn't viewed a profile where it was necessary?

I have noticed in the last day or so that when you look at a WG's free gallery there is now an offer at the top right hand of the box - "View these ** pics Full Size" - is this a new AW thing or is it part of the revised AW Utils script?

the script doesn't update on its own, view pics full size always was in adultwork for high resolution pictures while the last known number must be a new ukpunting forum feature

There are TWO adultwork userscripts floating around, the one that shortfuse has posted in this thread, and one that lol wrote originally (and I have updated a few times since) - see lol's link above.

Mine/lol's will update automatically (depending on your TamperMonkey/GreaseMonkey settings and how you installed it) and the most recent feature I added is the "Last known phone number" mentioned above.  "View these ** pics Full Size" is also a feature of my script (opens a new window with full size images from the free gallery as opposed to shortfuse's script which generates a list of image links to use in a download manager).

It's possible that you may have both scripts installed if you are seeing features of both.

Thanks Gotchaman - yes I do have both scripts installed.  Thanks to you and Shortfuse and lol - it's getting easier to see at a glance a lot of worthwhile information.  The "last known tel number" is extremely helpful.

Is this script still working fully for people? My preferred duration is set to 0.5 (Half hour), but at the top of the profile it now shows the rate for 2hrs.

I often update a hotlist on my phone then feel it's only sensible to check on a desktop but that's sometimes impractical. Any workaround?

The latest Chrome update doesn't like anything not from the chrome website and won't let me enable the scripts from the dashboard. Is there a way round it do you know or do they have to be reinstalled as new user scripts? Cheers.

I find it very useful and it was easy to install/setup

It adds info to the top of the AW page that you are viewing

We have a link that shows previously displayed phone numbers ... Is there any way to add a link to show previously displayed verification photos, logged from the UKP verification photo threads?

It seems to me that these valuable threads, which often point out everything from a bait-and-switch to misleadingly old profile pics to genuinely attractive WGs are well-supported -- by the number of posts -- but underused -- as the visual information gets lost in the multiplicity of threads.

It is very useful to be able quickly to see what a prostitute really looks like.

Just a little tip for everyone: After you have set it all up and it works you can right click the tampermonkey icon in chrome and hide it and everything will still work (One less way to be caught out in case anyone uses your laptop)

I think I installed I with greasemonkey on Firefox and tampermonkey for chrome (both on Mac). Will check on the Chrome though -- it was flakey last time I checked.
