Even the "best" parlours which try to maintain high standards can be hit or miss. It really depends on the girl you see, not the name above the door when you walked in.
You're right to ask though, as some places are worth avoiding and as you're already trying to do - finding reviews of specific girls is definitely the way forward.
I do think you're seriously narrowing your options by sticking to the city centre and it doesn't take that long to get outside of it. Having said that you're obviously not gonna be able to sample everything so it probably is just more efficient to stick to where you are.
You say you're looking for good service, I take it that doesn't include things like DFK or deepthroating etc. Otherwise you need to tread carefully (parlour girls who do those things well are somewhat rare) or have a look on AW and then check here for reviews. There are some good city centre escorts on AW. Some of which start at £60 for the half hour (including OWO, DFK and an enthusiastic shag).
You should do an advanced search in the north west section for terms such as "Cosmopolitan" and "Cosmo" (separate searches). That should bring up far more reviews (including more recent one)s than the wiki pages, which as you say, have not been updated for a while. Those searches will also bring up general comments and threads about Cosmo, some of which are basically mini-reviews but may well need to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Having said all that, since you're only here for 2 days, your only real option is to call up the parlours and ask who's working that day (they won't properly know until the day in question because so many girls are unreliable anyway and they may well get replacements in). Just ask for descriptions, make a note of their names and don't make any commitments. You can then do a quick search on here and if a girl has a good review/comment (which meets your requirements and seems trustworthy) then you can phone up again to make a booking. Otherwise just turn up and see what there is. That's very often what I have to and I bloody live here! Overall it's best not to get your hopes up with the city centre parlour. Generally, Cosmo is basic but usually decent (in terms of attitude but again still very hit and miss) and Piccadilly is very basic. Of course there are exceptions, for example I had a great proper GFE with a girl from Piccadilly a few years ago. To be fair that's the only time I've actually been, as I'm in no doubt that most of the other girls offer a poor service - as evidenced by many comments from others on here, despite my only experience being very positive. Still, it's hard to argue with £35 for the half an hour (you get the full time) with OW and a fuck. My price quote may well be out of date though. I know at Cosmo it's 40 and 45 for the VIP room - which is the only room in the parlour with a bed (the rest are just rather hard massage tables). I think it's a tenner extra for OWO.
