7:50pm - I text Kate, ask if she is available at 9pm. She says yes & gives me the postcode. I say thanks & I'll let you know when I'm on the street. She says OK.

8pm - I set off.

8:50pm - I arrive at Leeds dock & check my phone, there is a message that she sent at 8:30pm asking me to confirm. I text her saying I'm here...no reply. I send a few more texts & call a few times but no answer.

9:10pm - I have no plan B so set off back home after sending her a text thanking her for wasting my time.

9:20pm - She texts me saying it's my fault for not confirming.

I thought we had confirmed the meet when she gave me the postcode & me telling her that I'll be there at 9pm

I didn't think anything could go wrong as it was only an hour after making contact hence no plan B lined up. I still intend to see her but she has been sent to the back of the queue until I get a new punting number.
