i know this has been covered at length in the past, but does anyone have any recent experience of reverse bookings?

I had a couple of quid in my account from when i stupidly bought some credits a few week back so have set one up for next week. Already had some bids but their shite, assuming its pretty much a waste of time?

They are a bit of a mixed bag you have to be realistic about price and requirements.
I usually look for 2 hour appointments and price an incall at around 160 and often get a good response.
I priced an overnight (12 hours) at 400 and got a very good response.

I wouldn't agree they are a waste of time, but I would say they can't be relied upon.  I have met a couple of really good ones from reverse bookings.  But I tend to ask for a couple of hours, so even if the hourly rate is not that high, the total cash for the meeting is OK, which probably helps.  I have also come to accept that if no-one I like replies, I am better off not punting than taking a chance on someone who I have doubts about.  That doesn't happen too often, and if I end up losing a couple of credits on an RB which does not go ahead, where is the harm?

My normal RB is:

Outcall
Posted up to a month in advance (and most bids come in the first week when I post it and the last before the meet date)
2 hours or more at something like £75 per hour
Specify no bareback
Explain what you are looking for (ie age, dress size, any specific services).

Most of the time, this leads to a meeting which is at the price I am willing to pay and it turns out fine.  Sometimes better, sometimes worse, but I have definitely had a lot more good experiences than bad from using reverse bookings.

The benefit of RB's is that they often highlight some very good results that you've never found from doing searches. However you do have to wade through a lot of replies where standard text has just been cut and pasted without looking at what your criteria is.

I've usually put one up every couple of months for £250 for two hours, and put them up in good time.

I've noticed the number of responses recently has dropped right down, I only got four to my last one, although it was only put up 36 hours before

I put specifically no older than 40,the first bidder claims to be 47 and looks like my gran!

A day to go and it's been quite interesting seeing the bids come through, some clearly couldn't read while some are just horrific,one or two interesting ones but due to the knowledge I have built up from the London boards doubtful I will proceed.

If I am ever in a different part of the UK unexpectedly I can see their value

Useful for bringing down the price of longer bookings or, for me, the pursuit of FF or MF couples.

Even by the standards of RBs, I had an unusually stupid bid on one yesterday.  I am based near Reading and was looking for an outcall to my place for a few hours.  I got a girl from Glasgow telling me that there are loads of hotels and apartments there, and asking did I fancy going up there for an outcall with her?

I was most surprised because she seemed totally serious.

My experience has been totally negative, some of these stupid bitches seem to answer every RB even when they are not suitable.
Decent young girls don't have to beg for bookings, they are already busy.

I agree. You can spot the 'copy and paste' replies a mile off........and I specifically email everyone who had bid saying did you really read everything and are happy with my requirements and you either get no response or "sorry, don't do this and don't do that.."  So be prepared for time spent filtering out the good from the bad.....

17 bids and not one I would follow up,women older than my age range,from areas nowhere near London and profiles years old with limited feedback
Most of the bidders appear on here in previous reverse bid threads, clearly there are a lot of prossies with dusty phones out there

Sounds like the same girl who bid on my RB and I am in Hampshire.

Based on advice from here I submitted 2 bookings - one hour solo and one hour duo both in Edinburgh- I put no price on my bookings as I wanted the ladies to propose a price
This is what I've had so far:
No bids on the duo booking
Three bids on the solo one
Bid 1 from a girl in London - I did email to say thanks for the bid but I was not in London - the cheeky mare replied back saying well you better stick to Edinburgh ladies then as if it was my fault I lived there! At least she submitted prices (200 solo 400 duo)
Bids 2 and 3 were from women who again lived nowhere near me (Dumfries and Inverness) and all their replies were look at my profile
Ladies - a message from all us punters - please read the booking before you submit a bid
I put a lot of specific info on it re age requested bust size what I like to do
It's great to get a bid but you do feel deflated when it's obvious the WG has not looked at it
