Possible destinations in Europe

Hi guys - Long time lurker on these boards and thought it was about bloody time I start posting regularly on here as I have been punting for the past 18 months.

I'm due to head back to work on the 27th this month and I am really keen on booking a punting holiday to somewhere in Europe.

I've visited Amsterdam and Madrid and was wondering if anyone on thes boards could recommend any decent locations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Was just about to suggest Barcelona when I read the whole thread.
I go there about 4 times a year at least. My brother lives there. He travels a lot to Asia for work and I can use his pad. Just booked ten days for April/May!

Trouble is, the amazing value and astonishing choice really shows how shit punting is in the U.K., relatively speaking

Wow, Barcelona must be REALLY awesome then - is it really that much better than the UK (London, let's say)? Because whenever I've looked for punting options elsewhere in the world - Paris, New York, Miami - it always reminds me how much more choice we have in the UK, and generally much better service at much more reasonable rates. All my punts outside the UK, apart from one, have been massively disappointing. That said, I've never punted in Germany or Eastern Europe. Or Asia for that matter.

Also, consider Marrakesh, if you are able to. Not the easiest place to get around, but rewards are excellent.... overnights for approx £200.
