External Link/Members OnlyI used to go to Body Balance a couple years back and was keen to see if things were the same.
Venue: close to old street station, on a busy road. Possibly a bit too exposed for my liking. But in winter I feel a bit more concealed. Decor wise, typical massage shop. Not much had changed except the downstairs part looked new, at least it wasnt in action when I used to go. Although the mama-san at reception looked the same.
The initial damage: £50 for 1 hour massage
The room: Shower in the corner, clean. And warm!
The masseuse: Friendly, Chinese, slim, late 30's.
The action: stripped off, lay naked on the table. The massage was good, she was well trained. I was adked the usual been here before crap. The massage however had very limited Cc's etc. Very vanilla.
The extras: Towards the end I was offered hr for£40, I got it down to £30. She wouldnt budge. HR was done well, alternating speeds, no rush. Apparently B2B is on the cards, for £60.
The verdict: A good vanilla massage, hr was just above average. I'd go again, but only if I'm in the area and possibly as a plan B. I'd say it was on par with Ping in Earls Court.
