I saw Emma's website on another thread here and immediately loved the sound of her and her services, so I did a search, couldn't find any reviews so decided to TOFTT. Mistake.
I phoned 'Emma' to make a booking. The woman who answered called herself Emma and said she'd see me later. She had an English accent, possibly with a slight Irish lilt. I liked the sound of it and was getting excited.
Later that day I got a text with the address asking me to text when I was nearby. I did so 5 minutes before the appointment time. I arrived at her building and just before knocking I got a text back saying that she was ill and had gone home. So, I'd travelled for over an hour to get there only to then have to head into Soho to find an alternative.
Anyway, onto phase two of the story. Later that week, after pondering it for a while I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. After all, people are human and get ill and sometimes make mistakes. So I text her to ask if she was feeling better and taking bookings again as I felt that if I got the chance to visit her it would be a good time. Mistake.
She replied saying she was better so we arranged a meet for later that day. I ventured north again and this time when I got there I text to announce my arrival only to receive nothing back for ten minutes. I left to walk back to the tube furious with myself. Then I got a reply saying she was ready. Curious to play it out (knowing in the back of my mind that it woukd make this negative review complete) I headed back to meet her. When I saw her, she was not what I expected. Firstly she wasn't that petite , she had a pot belly. Secondly she was definitely not English/Irish and therefore someone had been telling porky pies. I have no problems with a maid if I know its a maid, but don't PRETEND to be the WG. When I confronted her as to whether she was actually Emma she said 'of course', though I doubt the truth of that. The final straw was referring to her agency pimp Dan after I was told on the phone that she was independent.
I'm very happy with myself for seeing it through to its conclusion and walking at that point.
Heads up to you guys, I've made all the stupid mistakes for you on this one so that you don't have to!
