from what i gather from the walk up thread Lisle street Alice does work at Romillystreet but under a different name and Romilly street Alice is a different girl...

I can't remember what days this Alice said she works there but i think they were week days and Lisle street Alice was reported as being there weekends (but she wasnt there a couple of weeks back when i tried to find her though)

I went into the walk up on Romily Street a few days ago. As soon as I got upstairs I nearly vomitted. It smelt like a group of guys had all shot their load onto the stairway the night before or something. Honestly, never smelt anything like it in my life. I just ran out the building straight away, and walking back down Charing Cross road, I nearly through up a good few times just thinking about it.

Romilly street is actually quite posh for a walk up... if you think thats bad you should go and have a look at greens court shaftsbury avenue end lower floor... or the walk down at greek street... and if you think they are bad you should have seen the one on greek street that got closed down after the raids... the evening standard used to call it "the slaughter house"

I have noticed the smell at other places but ive never noticed it at Romilly... I spent a good 20 years putting stuff up my nose though so its probably a bit fucked by now...

LOL you must have a really keen sense of smell... I can only imagine its the amount of traffic they get... they have to spray air freshener between every punter...

or there is a dog there sometimes... maybe they let him piss on the stairs... I don't know... go somewhere else and see if it smells the same... LOL

when I first started going to soho in the late 90's they didnt have cameras on the stairs back then and it wasn't uncommon to get perverts on the stairs wanking off... they used to put an ear to the door and listen to the bed squeak or listen out for a moan or a gasp... sometimes just wanking off over the sign "busty blonde model" or whatever...

not anymore though there is cctv and the maid will come and tell you to fuck off if you try wanking or even loitering...

It was my second time in a walkup and the second time I ran out. The first one was a few months ago (I'm not sure where it was but it wasn't Romily Street and definitely wasn't Greek Street either) but it was just off a main road. Anyway, as I was walking up late at night, the alarm went off and a bunch of guys just came running down the stairs. I didn't know if the alarm was connected to the old bill or just a warning for some pimp outside. I also didn't know why those guys sprinted out as if they just robbed the gaff. Either way, I wasn't hanging around to find out, so I just left and went home. That place didn't smell though.

If they've got a dog in there on Romily Street then my guess is that it pissed on the stairway.

I think some lisle street walk ups have panic buttons in the room... sounds like they tried to rob them or there was some kind of dispute...
