I'm all for sex equality, but seeming as the judges have for years consistently given females much lighter sentences than males for things like multiple murder  and other serious offences (let alone less serious ones) , it would only seem fair for a female convict to get an additional 5 years, on top of that which a male convict might get for the same offence, just for being female, to help redress this imbalance, over time.
