Unfortunately, the OP didn't elaborate on how the money was lost. Assuming he was actually scammed, it appears not to be a deposit scam based on others' intel. Sounds like he arrived, paid, and then it could have been a denial of service scam, or she ran away, or perhaps the ol' robbery via SP's "jealous" boyfriend. But the latter two don't make much sense.
