Indexing agency girls

I'm not sure how the current system works on UKP but is there any way to index agency girls?
ie give them a "UKP number" or something so they become searchable?

I would love to know if this is possible too, especially for the agencies that are frequently reviewed on this site. I know that Admin is very tech savvy and in the process of making many valuable technical changes to this site. Sadly I am technically incompetent however, I think that if indexing agency girls was an 'easy' feature to add, it would probably have been done by now.

Not at the moment, the current indexing system depends on AW profile ID, the upgrade has been on my to-do list for years but it's going to happen soon, I've already started work on it, just need an hour or two to complete it.

Meanwhile, many of the puntingwiki pages for the agencies have a lot of the recent reviews listed.  If you want to help make it better, then if you notice a review that is not on the list, you can go ahead and add it. And if there is an agency you use that does not have a PW page, you can go ahead and create it.

Seems like it would be quite difficult. Just thinking about it, you need to group the agencies, and within those somehow group girl names together. Hard work, but thanks for the effort.

Anything we can do with the Wiki to assist in the meantime (as per Steely Dans' comment) with linking known pictures to reports or something?

I'm in favour of a UKP created number (similar to the Adultwork number) being utilised, if there is nothing else workable, and no better idea out there.

Agree.
However there are issues with "multiple profile" AW girls and we manage to link them together by Members spotting this and updating via posting links.

I don't know how indexing currently works but for Agencies something like: (A) Does the girl already have an indexed number (B) Allocate a number (C) Index the review to the number (D) PuntingWiki update (E) Pictures added to index number (or review) (F) Members link existing reviews.
Or something like that...someone smarter than me can improve it.

Problems with agency girls are that they may be listed under several different names under each different agencies they work for (and there could be many even unknown to us). Also, these agencies have a tendency to change the escort's names and pictures if they are known to have received an unfavourable review here (which all these agencies keep a close track of this site).

Just wanted to add another requestor to the list. Not really seen a huge amount of talent on AW compared to the good old days... Agencies seem to have  better choice but clearly more expensive and who know what you get as you can't trust the pics and bias reviews so need to avoid a bad punt.

Just a thought that this would also be very useful for the Soho Walkups, which could be used in Rotas with a link to their index listing. This would really streamline the process of finding particular girls. And if automation is too difficult maybe it would be possible to have volunteers in the Soho thread to manually index the girls as new reviews are made? Soho could also make a good testing prototype since the pool of girls is smaller, well defined and more finite.

Just one more thought: I don't know how filtering works, but if it's done with the indexing maybe the two could be combined without additional work? Like an index ID: SohoWalkup_name_nationality_number?

Using automation or a UKP index number adds a lot of complexity if you're trying to ensure accurate attribution to the correct SP.

Would be easier to rely on members maintaining the Wikis for agencies and establishments and the girls working there and then some code to summarise from there.  Reviewers would attribute/link their reviews to an existing or new entry in (each) relevant agency/establishment wiki.  Other members and occasional validation by Helpers could help keep the wikis correct, checking that new entries weren't duplicating existing ones and cross-linking to matching identities in other agencies/establishments/AW/etc.

It doesn't have to be guaranteed 100% comprehensive but as long as the membership are identifying some of the associations we all benefit from the improved intel.
Membership could action or report corrections needed in the wikis.

It would be nice to somehow index the Vivastreet profiles as well, but they change and expire so quickly its hard to see how. Maybe link them by phone number in some way?

All the details on VS profiles are too short-lived to create any reliable index through automation.
The most reliable and adaptable method is for good ol' human intervention to manually associate reviews for recognised SPs using different profiles.

AW are usually more long lived but there are plenty of swapped profiles cocking it all up.

We won't be able to beat this unless every SP is correctly identified by inescapable digital fingerprint.
