The French maid outfit is a bit of a cliche to me, though you're more likely to see it in porn than a nurse's outfit.

Nurses themselves haven't worn uniforms in years, shapeless scrubs generally more utilitarian for them on the ward.  I do remember my nurse neighbour at the bus stop some mornings in her uniform, which did accentuate her buxomness and led you to wonder if she was in suspenders under the tight skirt.
