I don't often use AW to book, I usually phone.

One I likes the look of wants a AW booking, so I completed the form. Heard nowt back from her but it says "confirmed" if I look in bookings. Does this mean she has accepted the booking?

Also can she or other WGs see who you have booked or those you booked in the past?

Thanks.

Offline Marmalade

Contrary to form, one or two prossies can actually be businesslike. I’ve only had a small percentage that understand how to press the big “confirm” button but it does mean she’s seen and said yes. The ones that have the required brain cell to do that have been reliable in my experience but I’d never want to say something applies to every AW prossie.

Unless it’s an outcall presumably she has a way of contacting you to give you the exact address before the meet? Based on what you say so far I wouldn’t worry yet.

Offline Gynaemyte

Not only has she accepted your Booking with "Confirmed" but she has also opened herself up to potential Negative feedback from you so she ‘trusts’ you.
Follow it up.
She could have “Scheduled” the meeting in which case you could only leave neutral Feedback.

Everything written in “Your Correspondence” is private between you and the girl in question – and AW!

Only your Ratings will give away your previous Meetings.

On the subject of AW Ratings, I’ve notice a recent change but can’t now illustrate in detail by way of example but the Name of some male Reviewers is underlined/red pixelated with a warning (like some girl Rating (0)’s) to the effect “This Member has only been active for 2 days – exercise caution” or the like.
How kind of AW to suddenly address some our concerns.

I hadn’t noticed that. Thanks for pointing it out.  :drinks:

I used to try to analyse and cross-match AW feedbackers. Great idea if you have the time I think and works better in some areas than others. But maybe more punters are cottoning on to the fact that that AW feedback and reviews are pretty meaningless (or weighted against the punter if leaving a neg). Occasionally a certain name rings a bell one way or the other but apart from rapid, standard profile checks (and cross-matching to UKP), I tend to go more on instinct these days.

All credit to our Admin as well for thinking of doing UKE in the first place. When WGs can advertise there for free and know it’s not trying to skim them for money, there must surely (now or in the future) be a knock-on effect that will encourage AW to pull its socks up and give fairer consideration to the punter.

In full agreement with you there marmalade, its about time AW actually respected the punter not just the WG.

Another question would be can a WG see if you have looked at her profile, when you where last on the site and if they have been added to your HL

Offline Gynaemyte

I believe that they can only see if you have put them on your Hot list or bought their PG's.

Which, imo, is an argument against using AW Hotlists!

Good point.
It's just handy though to have then listed as you search.
I've had quite a few flirts once I've added to a hotlist which shows to me they must be desperate for work.
 I delete them.

I get a few of those too Nigel, I don't put up with prostitutes touting for business and any that do get immediately put on my avoid list. If I want to see a particular one I'll make an enquiry and then a booking if it plays out.

Having a prostitute send you flirty messages touting for business though is very unprofessional behaviour indeed whether it's on AW or via texts/calls on your phone.

Offline Marmalade

I think it’s simpler just to switch flirts off. Why give them a chance to be annoying little cunts.

They’re all apparently ‘beautiful ladies’ aren’t they
or rather, at least occasionally, useful slappers  :sarcastic:

i have had a few flirts as well, but not from anyone on my hot list.

They come from SP's who live a long way from London. Do they really think I am going
to travel 150 miles to visit them? Unbelievable!

Just had a look in the Client Connections section and these are the options an SP has:

Clients requiring bookings: then a scrolling list of local RBs

Quick Search and the ability to search for service seekers by gender, looking for gender, proximity and their interests (Escorts, Cams, Phone, Alt services)

Potential Clients

Online Now- Members who are logged in to AdultWork.com now
Camming Now- Members who are logged in and using DirectCam now
New Members- Members who have registered on AdultWork.com recently

Existing/Previous Clients

Hot List- Members who have you on their Hot List
Subscribers- Members who have subscribed to your Private Gallery/Clips/Rentals/Erotica
Bookings- Members who have booked an Escort Meeting/Webcam/Phone Chat Session with you
Alerts- Members who have new content email alerts

Hope this helps

Wow thanks, I didn't realise I was that exposed, but not in a bad way and I suppose, given that I've only met as many SP's in my life as most of them meet SS's in a week, I'm guessing those lists are quite extensive.

Offline Marmalade

Thanks Lizzie. Good info.

But isn’t the only way it can do the the prossie ‘any good’ is if the punters have Client Connections switched on?

I suppose it could be a catch-all for fluffie morons.  :sarcastic:

My own profile must be either meaningless or damned annoying. Client Connections switched off. My hotlists include a blacklist. I rarely use RB and generally avoid UKE.

I'm quite surprised at the search feature and the "potential clients" (ie randoms from all over the country who just so happen to be online now)

There are 10 names in the online now list with the option to see more (56 pages of 50 profiles returned in my search) so I theoretically have the ability to spam 2810 online service seekers at a time... I'm actually surprised more guys aren't getting random messages with this feature!!!

I would imagine you won't show on the Online Now lists, but I don't know if having it turned off stops you showing when you purchase PGs etc

Having not seen it from your side I'm not sure if the option to turn CC off is prominent when managing your account, so it may not just be fluffies using it, but those who are unaware of it.

To be fair, the Client Connections feature isn't very prominent on the SP's side of things so chances are it's equally obscure on your side.  For me it's hidden away with all the pyramid scheme type nonsense

Very interesting. I never had a clue that sp's had that view. Thanks for sharing that Lizzie

Another factor that is misleading to prossies:  I occasionally look at PGs to a potential punt when they are low cost. Overwhelmingly, the photos rarely help me make a positive choice but they nearly always help to sift out ones I wouldn’t want to see. The prossie might interpret the interest as a positive when in fact it is a negative — though since she (and Adultwork!) will get paid anyway maybe she doesn’t care about the lost business.

Wasn't sure whether to start a new thread, but since theres an existing thread found by search

Question re aw.

Whenever I look at a open any image from main photos (not gallery which has 'fit to window' option at the bottom) on Mac or iPhone the image opens zoomed in to the point its useless/can't make anything out, and won't zoom out.

Has anyone got a fix/solution for this?

Convoluted, but on my iPad, if I try opening a main photo image and then saving that image to the photo roll, I can view it there, normal sized, like any other photo.

cheers I use 'add to photos' to get images for my reviews, just long for general browsing.. zoom to the max just seems a pointless feature. Maybe theres a fix out there
