either for an overt or 'covert' camera or is in reference to keep a light on? as the camera has no IR or image intensifier capability
 ie cant record distinguishable images if its too dark

or just a note with those words written on it ?

Yes there is CCTV in the Soho walk-ups. At Romilly Street, the TVs on both floors record/show the stairs on both floors and main entrance at ground level. I don't think there's any CCTV inside the rooms (if there is, I demand royalties and free download for any porn movies I star in) but the CCTV on the stairs is at all the walk-ups for the maids/models security. You can see the cameras if ever you have to wait with the maid while the girl is seeing the client before you.

Any WG anywhere could be recording you with a hidden camera, just like any punter could be secretly filming with his phone (there's plenty of threads on SAAFE of this). Those who get caught of foul play are usually exposed/barred and potential WGs/punters are avoided and blacklisted.
