I was 79, a widower, and punting fortnightly - no bladder or sexual problems, but one morning I found I couldn`t pee. I managed to get an emergency appointment with the doctor, he prodded at my stomach and said there must be at least a couple of litres in there and needed a a tube inserted until I could get a prostate operation; by the time they`d got the tube in there was a full 3 litres came ouit. I was 6 months with that tube before I could get the operation, so no sex, not even a wank. After the op (a complete success) I was told that I could still attain orgasm, but that nothing would come out, and at my first punt a few weeks later I found this was correct, and had to explain to the girl because the condom was still empty. Her reply was "Oh how clever. All the fun of the fuck and no mess in the vagina".
That was 9 years ago, and I`ve punted regularly since with absolutely problems, although I now have to pee two or three times in the night, but my prostate is slowly regenerating, and recently I have had emissions of a very small quantity of precum. My doctor says I shall probably need another prostate op at 95 (7 years time) if I`m still "at it" by then - I`m hoping so, but I`m beginning to find the ancillary problems (climbing the stairs, dressing & undressing etc) are beginning to take up more of the appointment than the actual punt itself as well as some restriction in the positions I can adopt.
I tried Tamsulosin for a few months at my doctor`s suggestion, but found they made absolutely difference to my nightly piddling, so gave them up after 6 months.
