I have never managed to complete this. I go to the right place and they send me a text with a funny mix of letters and number as the verifier and when I text it back to them it is not delivered. I have a long thread of undelivered replies over a long time. WTF is wrong?

I had a similar thing on my punting phone.... there was still an adult content bar on the SIM card. Once that was removed it worked ok. If it isn’t that then no idea. Good luck

It could also be a block on messages to 'Premium rate' numbers

I think I know why - it suddenly it dawned on me. The verification process requests identifying the name of the phone service provider. They give options of the big well-known ones. Mine is not one of these but a small quirky one, The Phone Coop. So the verification bounces.

I had that too, it's an age verification thing, bloody tricky to get around when I have no credit card, the only option is to visit a Vodafone shop in the centre of town where I get maybe twice a year during opening times.
