Author Topic: How do you read a review  (Read 906 times)

Offline Bush

Just wondering how others guys tackle reading a review. First thing I do is follow the link to the AW/Viva/Gumtree page and go straight to the price ph or hh. If it’s above £130ph I don’t review the review 🤔 any further.
Means I don’t get tempted to go above a spending cap and saves a bit of time particularly when loads of reviews get posted such as when the membership was opened up.
The other way I.e. read the review in full can leave you frustrated when you fancy a bit of it and then find out how much wonga it is. (I know some reviews helpfully include price details)

Ideally reviews should have the basics, description, location, price etc. The main part of the review should be informative but not War and Peace, quality over quantity. If the reviewer is a particularly entertaining writer or can provide an interesting twist on the world's oldest profession, then all well and good.

I find myself reading Negative reviews more intently as the reasons are generally what most would agree to be bad things usually etc timewasting or a bad attitude. I'll skim through other reviews and read the parts that catch my eye. Positives can be subjective so I'll read them on a case by case basis or location basis.

Well I probably do it the other way round. I go onto AW, see someone I fancy meeting and then check it out on UKP. If no reviews then I consider TOFTT.

Offline RLondon99

I go AW link first. Gallery, slim girl, check. Stats, natural tits, check. Likes, facial, check.

If I can check all those then I settle down to all the UKP reviews, paying particular attention to between the lines. Plus do a name search which may turn up something useful.

Never bother with AW reviews but check AW feedback to get a client vibe (and sometimes find other likely girls).

1. Area
2. Girl
3. Price
4. Search function to check for other reviews.
5. Negatives
6. Reviews that run for pages to see what Finn has to moan about FitBex from Bristol this time  :D

Always area for me these days.... can't be bothered traveling too far.
Then preferably massage service with decent link.

If nothing available, I then read the negatives just for a laugh.
I know I shouldn't,but some of them are hilarious.

Interesting, but makes sense. I never find the filter system on AW works very well (probably me) and so end up with options that aren’t really what I’m looking for.
What would one enter on the filter if only looking for massage......seems to me you just tick everything you don’t want rather than the one thing you do unless there is a way around that.

You put massage in the likes. But searching for only one (vanilla activity will mean there won't be many that don't offer it and the responses will be huge.)

If you want a lady that only does massage and nothing at all else then yes, click the dislikes button for everything else.

Generally skim through to see if it would be my kind of punt. If so, I'll have a proper read, if not I just hit the 'back' button.

If it's a Thai girl review I'll just ignore it as I'm not remotely interested. Don't think I've ever read one.

Offline Jayne_cobb

I always start my reviews with a summary of the services offered and how much I spent.
Then people can read the rest or not as they fancy.

Personally I always read the negs because they’re normally more entertaining; then I’ll read anything in my “punting zone” to see if there’s someone new I might be interested in podging.

The ones that really piss me off are those that don’t say price, age or location so I read the whole thing, think, yep she’s going on the hotlist then click the link and find she’s miles away, costs a fortune and is a munter

Good point this - Thais do nothing for me and the amount of massage reviews that don’t mention that the SP is a Thai. Annoying.

I like to see reviews that have photos attached, if I don't fancy the girl I will tend not to read on. I think that there are a few like me, that's partly why I attach photos to other punters reviews. I make an exception for certain entertaining reviewers whose reviews I read whether or not I am interested in the service provider.

Offline Atlas1957

Not all reviews and reviewers are made equally.  If you read a good review and are tempted by it, first read the reviewers other reviews.

There are a few reviewers who never have a bad meet, I always find these suspect.  If they have zero negatives or only have a couple of no show negatives, I mentally put the label Fluffy next to their name.  In general I also like to see that a reviewer is able to identify and articulate the negative aspects of their punts even in the positives, that way I know that if they are happy with the SP it means they didn't find something to be negative about.

The other reason you read all their reviews is you are trying to find common ground.  If you saw an SP a year ago and thought she was very rough looking, but the reviewer saw her six months ago and thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever met, then it would seem you have very different tastes.

I click on the link to see what the girl looks like, if i dont like what i see i dont bother with the review. If i like her look i go to the price and if this is too high i move on quickly. Dont really see the point of reading a review of a girl who i dont fancy or is too expensive -  i wont be seeing her.

Offline Alanroy

I generally stick to reading reviews from my area, so the next time I'm browsing, I have a mental hot list / not list prepared. Or just flat out go and book someone who has been extremely well reviewed, as I did recently.

Exactly my routine. Always make a point of looking at the home done photos rather than the photo shopped professional ones if available.

In normal times, I search for the AW identity I am interested in, and concentrate mainly on the negative reviews.  Positive reviews are very subjective, whereas things that make a review negative are very likely to impact on me.

Other than that, I glance through the regional sections and see if any reviews catch my eye for the areas I am interested in. Just because the reviewer finds a girl attractive, doesn't mean I will, so opening the link is one of the first things I do, so I do find it annoying when that is at the bottom.  Even better if the review includes photos.  No point in reading a review on someone I am not interested in meeting.

I know some people like reviews that give a minute by minute account of the session, but I regard them as a waste of time.
Why would I want to read all the gory details about someone else's punt?  The likelihood that I will have the exact same experience is negligible.  As long as the services are listed.  If I want to read porn, I can get that elsewhere.

Offline tesla

I do not read the reviews when posted, I scan the titles looking for names I know and then maybe I will read one, when I want to punt someone new or unknown to me then I read reviews after searching.

Like others have said, a photo and price are both make-or-break for me so if the review doesn't have them listed then I'll immediately check out the adultwork link to see if it's worth my bother reading on.

I'm also a fan of reading the negative reviews. Not just for schadenfreude, but also to prepare myself for what could go wrong (just about anything, apparently) and tips on how to deal with a disaster. Educational!

I like fit muscley gym bunny types. I therefore do a word based search for "toned", "gym" or "muscles" or similar. I'll read through all the resulting reviews but It's more miss than hit...... I reckon 80% of the returns have phrases like "not at all toned" or "her gym membership lapsed a decade ago" which is most disheartening for me!
Still, mustn't grumble....  every now and then it'll turn up a review of a hardbodied hottie who's up my street and on the hotlist she'll go.
