I did check whois but they no longer show you the sites owner under GDPR rules
Now looking at the site it well done but.... The Phone number looks like a UK one with some digits missing
I think the scam, as mentioned was seeing "she" had nearly £1 million showing in her current account the scammers were hoping that someone would try and do a sneaky transfer as one would think She doesn't even know where I live or my name
However on doing a transfer which would never complete as the money in the account is made up One would have to reveal your Bank account acc name etc
Then as soon as you press transfer the shit hits the fan and the blackmail begins
Anyway thats my take; happy if anyone wants to pick this up and have some fun with her WA mobile as previously posted, personally I feel a bit stupid talking about intimacy with some bloke hiding behind this girls profile
Cheers

I do now;And as said they nearly got me, where they are clever is the way they work on EAS, unfortunately some blokes who are less street wise would be easily sucked in (no pun) and could lead to financial ruin and suicide

I was more concerned with anybody clicking on any URLs or links you have shown,it is quite possible to have key loggers downloaded simply by clicking on a link.
As I said I've been defrauded for several grand and I almost have a grudging appreciation of how sophisticated it was,I still can't figure out exactly how it was done so don't go clicking on links or URLs.

Phone number is real, business appears real.
This looks like an attempt to steal from a compromised account, possibly to pay for drugs/arms.

What is the name / details of the destination account where the money was supposed to go? What country?

Sorry to hear that, yes they are patient and very ingenious, my Bank sends me a SMS on any new payee so would be hard for them to suck money out of my account, However potential blackmail on conversations and picture swaps is another matter,so the less they know about me the better
A fatal schoolboy error would be linking a personal facebook account to your SA profile which is requested on setting up the account.
As said punting on AW is a lot safer but not as exciting as meeting a civvy on SA

Really!! telephone number looks real for what country, its certainly wont work in the UK as there are 3 digits missing?
Re transfer I didn't get that far she said it was for urgent medical equipment from China,I'm pretty sure this Bank doesn't exist its a fake site
So looks like you were also taken in!!
Also digging into the site looks a bit amateurish
A female friend of mine nearly got scammed on Match.com her new lover actually created a convincing business web site and Linkedin profile absolutely brilliant. However he could never meet her as was always flying somewhere and who never be able to do a live facetime

Yes your bank may refund you but even if they did which is debatable you would be potentially giving these fraudsters money.
Additionally other posters perhaps less secure may have clicked your link, not smart.

Interesting info thanks, what would be ironic is she and the Bank are genuine and I've passed on an SA hottie with a £mill in her bank,I could have been a kept man

She was trying to get you to steal money from a compromised account. When the theft was found, you're the fall guy.
The important question is where was the money supposed to go?
Was there a name on the account you were meant to send it to? Which country?

Sorry I think you have not read my posts re this scam,I did not pay in nor receive any money
I said I reckon its a fake site which if one was tempted to help or take money that doesn't exist, this will lead to potentially being blackmailed
I'm in the phone business, and its not a genuine number for Ankara here's an example of an actual business number for that region

Hotel Name   HOTEL İÇKALE
Status
Telephone   +90 (312) 231 77 10 (Pbx)

Correct. A quick check on Wikipedia shows the area code for Ankara is 312 so it’s plainly a fake website

Ok thanks for the info; I might try dialling it from one of my spare phones in the week just to check them out, although number on the web site still doesn't look right for an International Bank though.

Offline datwabbit

Thanks I know that, but was trying to figure out how "her" scam works, she has spent 4 weeks trying to groom me with Promises of endless sex and bed of roses plus very clever EAS (emotional attachment syndrome) but I was waiting for the sting which she is trying on now

Hang on, you spent 4 weeks chatting with no date set for a meeting? There's your alarm bells right there.

All you've done is waste your time when you could be chatting to someone else.

Another possibility is the plan would have been when you attempted to make the transfer she requested something would have “gone wrong” and you would have been asked to transfer some amount from your own account to prove things are working?

SA from all I gather is more expensive, more time wasting and stressful/riskier than ordinary punting.

For anyone in my position e.g. married, barely get time to arrange punts leave alone hours of letters and sweet nothings messages, limited budget....

You're correct and its time consuming which being self employed means I should be speaking with clients not Girls on SA.However there are some gems in SA and nothing beats the excitement of meeting a "civvie" in a Hotel room I've got one who just loves SEX and wants to keep exploring her sexuality I'm happy to oblige.Yes AW is easier and is always there as my default option
I only dip in and out of SA every couple of months as £85 a month is crazy but means less Guys on there willing to pay = more desperate women looking for their cash cow or cash bull.

The website is registered with one.com. They are just a cheap website creation company, can’t see a Turkish bank using them so it’s a fake site

Yep agreed just as well I stuck to that old adage When in doubt, leave out
When I paused in helping that’s when they started to panic I then knew it was a scam

Time I’ve got even less of than money!
Sounds like you’ve got a good tactic though, and a hot one there in the sexuality ‘explorer’.

I can appreciate the sex must be better when it feels less directly transactional.

I think you should go to the police with it all as there will be another hoard of men she will be doing this to. This is obviously a very professional set up.

Well I had thought about reporting this but 2 things
1.I'm married and would be World War 3 with the OH if the Police came round for an interview
2.Because I didn't complete what ever action they wanted me to do transfer wise, in theory there was no scam only my suspicions that there might be one; So nothing to see here officer
All I can do to help, is post the details here in the hope that other members are may be more cautious on SA

Scam or just s BS story. You’ve never met or even talked to this person. You’re being duped. Probably a guy in India getting you to do the dirty work for him.

I don’t have a millions pounds in my bank account but if I wanted to withdraw a huge amount in any country I wanted to, my said bank could make that happen. Any of your banks can.

Offline munterhunter

Banks have procedures in place to dealive with situations like this. They may delay a transaction if they are unsure of its legitimacy UNTIL they have checked it's kosher. There''s nothing to say you can'take log into your account from anywhere in the world.
To authenticate transactions my bank either texts me a one time pin to input or asks me to use my card reader to generate a code to verify it is me performing the transfer. If her bank is blocking the transfer she should contact them to resolve the issue if she has over a million in transactions he account she'll be a valued customer and they will help her. Why would you give bank login details to a stranger unless your intention was to scam them?

Agreed I was curious what the actual sting was going to be,I reckon they have 2 possible scam scenarios, baring in mind the bank web site was a front and not an actual Bank
1.By assisting them in a transfer the "money" would get held up and you would get asked to verify who you are thus giving them your personal banking info
2.One may have been tempted to transfer money from this fake current account into your own account as they don't know who you are,
At that point you get threaten with a criminal act unless you pay.
As I said earlier,When in doubt leave out but some poor buggers could easily be sucked in
