I don't get the punting phone theory. My other half would be very suspicious of i had another phone knocking around and it's harder to hide a phone than it is separate browser and messaging apps that require fingerprint access.
That's why you get a cheap shitty basic one that looks like an old Nokia phone. Until you need it, just keep it switched off in some drawer somewhere, along with a bunch of other old junk, with a PIN lock on it. If the missus sees it she'll just think it's some old phone you never threw away. If she asks why the password, just tell her you must've put it on years ago and forgot what it is. If something goes wrong it's easy to remove the SIM and destroy it, throw away and forget about it. Something could always go unexpectedly wrong with an app, or the prossie could phone you out of the blue whilst you are with the missus, try explaining that to her. If you post a review, or just you say something to her she doesn't like, and the prossie has your private number, she could post your number on her Twitter, AW, or even try to post it on here as retaliation. Bang, everybody you know, you wife/gf, your work colleagues, your friends, your mum, your dad, your siblings, your kids, could see that and put it together that you fuck prostitutes.
Better to keep it simple, and be safe rather than sorry IMO.
