Hi all

Just wondered if anyone's gone back to punting after having a pacemaker fitted. I had one fitted 6 months ago and feel fit enough but not really sure if it would be best to explain before a meet.

I enjoy both massages (with he) and escorts I just wouldn't want them to freak out if I hadn't told them.

I suppose the easiest thing would be to phone and ask but there is some sound advice on here so though I would post here first.

Cheers

Never had one fitted and hope I never will.... But think your Doc is the one only best to answer your question  :unknown:

Exercise including sex is very good for heart recovery, I was thinking more on the lines of seeing where it is and feeling it.

They fit them under the skin in the chest just below the collar bone and if you're slim like me you can see the outline and you can definitely feel it. Just curious what any reaction might be.

I suspect no reaction, most girls will have seen alsorts and will rarely bat an eyelid or comment. Some might check to ensure your safety but that's about all.

Most girls will have probably seen dozens of them or at the very least a couple so I wouldn't worry about informing them before hand.  As it doesn't affect the booking and is not an external implant/device of any kind then it really is none of their business.
If it was on the outside of the body that would be different as some may feel uncomfortable in case they knock it or just because of what it is but the fact it is inside and cannot be accidently knocked off and wont catch on anything or leak or make a mess of any kind there is absolutely no need what so ever to inform them.

As long as you have had your 6month check and been told you can go back to normal activities then go ahead.  You will probably find you have more energy than before the device was fitted and don't get out of breath as quick which is a good bonus

Thanks for the replies.

Yes Dani I do have regular checks, they did some adjustments 3 months ago so I'm back in 2 weeks and to be honest I feel fitter now than I have for years.

Been back to normal activities for 2 months, it's just been cardiac rehabilitation exercise classes up to now so back to real normal activities in the next week or so.

I have a pacemaker and have never had any negative comments from wgs. Occasionally they have asked about the scar or I have mentioned it as part of some other conversation, so it can be a talking point but has never been an issue for me. I wouldn't worry about it

I would stick with English speaking escorts for ease of explanation should the issue be raised.

For my own peace of mind I would send an introductory email to any new escort and explain the situation - I expect 99% will not bat an eyelid but at least you can look forward to the punt and not be anxious about it being noticed

All new to me so can't help unless at your next check up visit where the kit can be calibrated for extreme punting mode   Good luck. If your willing and able then I don't think it will freak any WG, but I would advise them up front.
