Have a hankering to go for an old style parlour experience, where do they advertise these days? (Used to see the ads in free papers - but the papers seem to have been driven out of business by the internet)

Hi rubric, Gumtree is a good start. You will obviously have to filter out the legit shops. A starter for 10 is to look for shops which repost their adverts regularly (like the Chinese Health Centre in Cricklewood) or have a mobile phone number as contact within the body of the advert. An initial text asking for types of massage / prices to break the ice followed by one which asks if they do anything else (I don’t mention the word extras). The legit shops will always reply with a definite no or just list another load of treatments, the ones where there may be something else on offer just reply with something like "we can talk when you come in". Very rare that the shops you are looking for will actually text back with anything mentioning extras.

Happy hunting! oh and make sure you post any reviews on here.

What do you mean by an "old style" parlour experience?

Places of the sort that have a 1/2 different girls working daily of the kind that used to advertise 'massage' in the freesheets but were in reality knocking shops - as opposed to pre-booking AW girls that at least give the impression of working independently.

The Newham recorder

I'll try that (going back further there was the Stratford and Newham Express), though last time I checked they had made an effort to cleanup and boot such adverts.

The East London Advertiser used to have such adverts!    ;)

Along with the Chat Lines charging anything from 35p - £1.50p per minute.
