Hi all
I'm new here
I know the rules say an escort review must be within the past 6 months
I want to contribute but due to lock downs all have been around 9 months ago or longer
If they still have active aw accounts would it be useful to other members

You’ve read the feckin rules.
There is some lurkers on here that come out of the woodwork after several years who haven’t got a clue about the rules.
They think it’s ok not read and criticise but not contribute.
Glad to see we have some new members.

If you have any info on any WG that has not been reviewed and are still active (ie showing number / available today on AW) then maybe ask a mod again.

Welcome to UKP OP.

As membership has been closed for so long if you can’t find any intel on WGs you have seen perhaps post the info in the relevant regional board. Mods can then decide if they want to make an exception for new members and move it to the review section.

We are relaxing the rules for new members to allow reviews up to 12 months after the booking to give everyone a chance to contribute.

Yes pointless if she doesn’t return, never ever say never.
But what if she does return, most do, and could be on a Covid Break.
May as well just have the reviews either way.
Could prove very useful especially if not reviewed before or a neg.

What I find less valuable is an influx of new members posting lots of fluffy reviews of already well reviewed WG.
They need to be monitored, could be previously banned white knights, pimps, WG.

But hey, need something to read for the next 3months.

Yes pointless if she doesn’t return, never ever say never.
But what if she does return, most do, and could be on a Covid Break.

That has not been my experience, at least with Adultwork providers, once they go they go for good.

If they are taking a break because of Covid then they can state that on their profile, they don't have to pay for a dormant profile.

Hundreds of reviews on here lead to a dead end, including my last one.

Thought there was a whole thread on it once but that may have been due to issues posting reviews which has been fixed.

Anyway in the main review section click on the link to the region in which you want to post the review, it should bring up a list of the most recent reviews in that section and there is a button which says "new review" on the right hand side about 1/3 of the way down the page.
Click the link and away you go, anyway good to see new members keen to get involved

Illustrations are always a good thing. You need learn how to download pictures from aw and upload them one by one to your review. This is important if you are the first to review a girl, or the profile has been swapped.

Sorry but it's not essential to add the pics and it could put new members off reviewing if they think it's a pre requisite, i'm crap at tech and can't copy the AW pics myself but have still managed 77 reviews with no complaints for others.

While the review you link to as being good is certainly "Comprehensive" many will also find it too long so give up part way through unless they specifically want to see the girl in question.

I don't see any reason in setting the bar too high at an unobtainable level which results in newbies thinking fuck it I won't bother, what we need are the basic facts padded out a bit then a willingness to answer any questions / points which were missed and get asked

I also think that while newbies have often had a hard time we should perhaps cut them a bit of slack and encourage them to get involved rather than automatically getting on their case unless it's obvious they're a bell end

Yep ... absolutetly ... reviews are personal, and I like the fact that they are different and varied between us all, as long as they hold basic and key info. The excellent Guide to Writing Reviews on the Punting Wiki very nicely summarises the business ...

How do we know that she isn't just taking a break from being an SP?

My current Favourite is one such. I first started seeing her, being guided by 'old' Reviews, shortly after she returned to 'the industry', following a 7 or 8-month gap in her career as an SP.

As long as you realise many many WGs have deleted their A/W profiles only to then return a while later, more come back than retire for good in my experiences. So a review on a WG whose profile is down at the time of the review doesn't mean it will always be down. And if a punter hasn't noted the WGs A/W profile details before its deletion IF the WG has a review on here and its the same A/W number it can be found on here from a previous review.

My advice is always do a review rather than not thinking she has now gone, that's how some bad WGs try to avoid negative reviews.

Does anyone know if there is a training document for this on ukp you must save all the pictures to your smartphone before you post the review. These days you only get 15 minutes to load the pictures. I don't believe you can multi select and upload. I think you must modify the post each time you want to load new photo.

I mean I’ve got 1 review under my belt and as soon as I see someone else I’ll give another review but I guess what I’m getting at is: what if I see someone during Lockdown? Review and say this? Will I get into trouble on here for that?

Doesn’t take a lot but I’m confused. I have read the rules btw

You won't get into trouble from the owner, admin or mods but if you punt during lockdown you will have to be prepared for the comments made by other members for doing so.

During lockdown No 1 March 2020 - July 2020 the tone was quite hostile to punters punting during lockdown. Several threads were posted in various guises about the ethical dilemma of a punt when people were dropping dead by the thousands due to this awful disease.

Not many punters would even dare to admit to a punt even though it was clear to us many were still punting they just didn’t post any reviews or when they did the standard disclaimer was listed “this meet took place prior to the lockdown”  By June/July that attitude started to soften and reviews gradually increased.

I have no idea what the stats say with regards to number of reviews posted on an average week prior to March 2020 but what I can say is this.

The current lockdown is not viewed the same by punters or the UKP wider forum. New reviews are popping up all the time with punters unafraid to say this punt took place last week. Further forum members do not appear to have the same zeal in attacking members or being moral judge and jury. This could be because they are now having a Tier 5 punt themselves who knows.

So feel free to post away ... there are far too many Tier 5 punts taking place for anyone to single you out as a pariah.
