Anyone here go punting while we have weather like; 70 mph winds, constant and heavy rain: N-Ireland, Scotland, Hurricane Benson

Going out to night, but had it been dry and mild out side, would have considered booking someone for a hour, but it windy, and raining, and for the last 24 hours the rain hasn't gone of, and this is in Glasgow

Well providing it's not an outdoor meet  :D then why not?

My punt last Saturday feature shocking weather. Got there early as I allowed time for it and sat there in the car thinking 'wtf am I doing here on a Saturday evening'. I had to dash from my car to the door - fortunately she'd seen me coming and the door opened quickly!

Strong winds on the south coast today, had a punt this afternoon and got battered by the wind in the short walk from my car to the door. I apparently looked in a state of shock when I was let in so she had to ask if I was ok!

Yes had a meeting this afternoon with Sophie Thomas in Glasgow had to travel thru floods and all sorts, never seen so many busted umbrellas in the bins. Was well worth it great time was had. Will try and do a review later. :P

TBH I dread the snow cos that's the only weather that's likely to curtail my punting.

Optimum weather for me is just before Summer. Not too hot and a nice warm breeze that fills the air. With punting in the cold if the particular working girl has double-booked you better hope there is a coffee shop nearby.

That's a danger at this time of year. Snow, and all travel plans go out of the window.

Reminder to self for next Saturday......
On arrival, unless you are having a shower anyway, pop to the bathroom and soak your mitts in a basin of warm water.
Cold clammy hands do not make for great lovers.

The problem I see with bad weather and planning your punt, your booking is usually for the next day, and the weather here in Glasgow at the weekend could have caused major problems

Where I stay, a lot of roads were closed due to flooding, and some roads in Glasgow were also closed, cineworld cinema in Glasgow, Renfrew street was closed due to part of the roof coming of in strong winds

And then there the escort, you don't know if she is going to have to cancel your meet

Right now I'm glad this bad weather has gone, until the next one comes

Few years ago just finished a punt in a remote location in freezing weather.

Drove slowly down her drive and skidded almost into a hedge.

I had no feasible reason to be anywhere near that location.

Scared the shit out of me.

I am much more careful now when the temperature drops below zero.

I often wonder if that pleasant post-punt haze affects driving (especially taking a hand off the wheel to sniff fingers)

Or even an efficient one.

Went to visit a WG i had seen a few times, absolutely pissed down and I arrived soaking wet, texted her to say I was very wet and she said wet also.
Sense of humour was not working right then so I did not catch on – duh !!
Got to her door and she burst out laughing.
Put clothes in dryer and got on with more interesting stuff.
